How to preview theme offline?

    Hello.

    I need some help here. I am changing the appearance a theme and would like to preview it offline, locally on my computer, without having to send it to the server everytime and see if it’s good. Is there a way or a software I can use to do that?

  • One way is to install WordPress on your local computer. To do this you will need to install Apache MySQL etc. A lot of work.

    Another way is to use the Theme Dreamer plugin for Dreamweaver. its only so so and previewing WordPress but you can get a free trial and see if you like it.

    I liked ThemeDreamer. As neovita said, it’s not awesome, but saved me some hours of boring work. ??
