• How do you prevent wordpress from automatically adding spaces and changing your blog post html around?

I’ve tried disabling the visual editor within my author account and tried the “raw html” plugin but no luck.

    Any ideas?

  • The Raw HTML plugin is really handy for this.

Tried it but it doesn’t work. From what people are saying it doesn’t work for the newer versions of WordPress.

That’s too bad, I haven’t used Raw HTML for quite some time but it does have it’s uses.

Are you mostly having problems with basic formatting, WordPress not respecting your linebreaks and paragraphs properly, or with more complicated bits or code?

I think the breaks and paragraphs are always a source of headaches for people and can’t always be avoided, but for other things like embed codes I try to use a plugin or shortcode whenever I can to avoid it being messed up by the Visual Editor.
