    Hi!

I use the twentyseventeen theme and I’m looking for a way to prevent the frontpage to look like a one-page.

I want only the “normal” content of the page to show. Like at the other non-frontpage pages.

    Is that possible?

Hope somebody can understand and help me. Thanks!

I agree. The look has accessibility problems for everyone.

if you dont like the look, remember that WordPress has Thousands of Themes.

This is supposed to be the default theme for 2017. The theme that all site problems get measured against. “If it works in the default, then your problem is probably a plugin”. I’ve been spoiled by the previous twenty-something themes and was expecting the new default theme to have basic functions and accessible design.

The only thing that I don’t like is the “one-page” look when I select static frontpage.

Till now I had the frontpage to be the blog page. And that was totally fine. But now there I havn’t a blog page anymore I don’t want to change the whole theme only for that reason.

I just want the frontpage to be without this teasers for the other pages. Just the nativ content of the page. In my case it is an about us page. So there is really no need to list the other content of the other pages on this one.

I believe it could be achieved by deleting some lines of code in one of the theme template files, but I can’t figure out which.

Ok I kinda solved it. Or rather I achieved what I wanted using a 301 redirect.
