How to prevent past hovered menu to change upon hovering the next one down

Hello. I would like the plugin to only change the font color/background color if i am actively hovering over that specific menu. I have not found a way to do this in the plugin settings and was hoping for some help. Additionally i was wondering if there was a way to have each additional sub menu under another sub menu (e.g. MAIN->sub->sub) menu to continue to indent itself the same amount as it did from the original main menu.
