How To Prevent Member Creation If Email Was Not Confirmated?
-
Hello
I have this issue on any website I ever created with wordpress, the spammers create accounts even if there is Captcha, have even installed Ultimate Member but it also does not have such function, this seems a WordPress basic methodology.
Is there any way to do in such way so the User details will not be generated in database level until he does not validate Email Confirmation of his account creation?I think this will be a good way to prevent those AI bots to create any account at all.
Hope you understand what I want to do, I want that they will not create any account on my WP website until they not confirm the email they received. This means that their User details wll be floating in some limbo until they not confirm the email, only after they will confirm their account will be generated on WordPress and activated.I have searched the Internet but did not found an answer, Google shows only how to disable email confirmation so the account will be created, but I don’t need that.
Thanks for any help.P.s. maybe there is a way to do in such a way so that before someone register he first must Confirm Email by input it on the registration form and only after that he will be able to input his User details to create account, maybe there is a plugin for this.
