How to prevent logging of IPs?

    Hi,

    in light of the coming new data protection laws in the EU I need to know this…

    How can I prevent the logging of IPs of my subscribers? And additionally delete already existing IPs?

    It would be great to have an option for that in the future.

    Hi, we’re working on a set of tools and options for that. In few release we should be able to cover all that. Stay tuned for updates on next week.

    Please note that logging the ip address is no against the GDPR and ignoring the IP prevent the use of the antiflood tool. So, stated you specify it in your privacy note, you’re legitimate to store the ip address.

    Thank you for you plugin. I do not care what any law tells us to do, I am waiting for people to sue me if they can.

    Logging IPs is very important to be able to check if they are legitimate, so it’s good that you do not logging IPs.
