• Hi, how to prevent inconsistent/wrong canonical in languages when using wpforo seo and ONE main forum for all languages?

    ONE multilingual-forum is used and will be shown in all languages. The canonical is following these languages

    /de/forum/

    /en/forum/

    which is going to create duplicate content. The same with topics and posts

    /de/forum/marketplace/post1

    /en/forum/marketplace/post1

    How to prevent this?

    Dear @holle75,

    Please move your topic to wpforo.com/community, you will get better and faster support there.

    Hi, i use more than 37 plugins on the site i′m working on. I do not want to open 37 forum accounts for a question that might occur to one of them. Please understand. This problem i mentioned here is also a big one where other people might be interested in before decide to use WPforo. Where is the difference if you give advice here?

    @holle75,

    Did I understand right, you use one Forum board, for multiple languages?

    Yes, and i want to keep it this way. But the canonical should refer to one language only (not because it′s better, but to prevent double content).

    It would be nice if you could provide a function/filter to set a Board with a specified ID to a certain canonical for WPforo SEO.
