How to post to a 'Blog' page, without them showing up on home page

  • Hi I’m running the Taraza theme where my homepage displays all my recent posts (reviews that I write). I want to create a ‘Blog’ page where I can post to, but I don’t want these posts to show up on the homepage. Can anyone help please? Much appreciated! My site is https://www.touristmemoirs.com

  • From the left panel in the Dashboard of you WordPress admin you would go to

    Appearance>Customize>Static Front Page>Choose the A Static Page button and then choose the page you want from the drop down menu.

    Thanks Don, although I don’t want a static front page! I guess what I’m doing is having a blog within a blog! The front page should have my most recent posts but not the ones that I will put on the ‘Blog’ page. Hope this makes sense.

    Look for a Featured Posts plugin.

    Thanks for the suggestion, it didn’t really work as the theme I have automatically features every new post by default.
    I just want a separate section I suppose on my site which doesn’t appear on the homepage which I can post to, but also be able to post on the rest of the site.
