How to post text images and media through emails

What type of trouble are you having with posting through emails? I’ve seen discussions in the forums that the postie plugin works for some:

for the response, so prompty and the suggestions. I tried post by email, postie, ktai and even posterous. It seems that I either have synchronization issues – ie I do not get my post after a long while, or worst I get blank posts – only the subject shows, but not the body or the images.
I review quite a lot of threads in the forum, none of them ended to a clear universal solution.
I tried a lot of code tricks too.
All I want is to send an email with some text and pictures to my blog and automatically upload it.
Last night I tried the Windows Live Writer, it worked fine, but it is not what I really wanted

I’m not sure what might be causing the synchronization issues. I’m assuming you’re using a mobile phone (otherwise you could easily log into the WordPress dashboard and post from there). If that’s correct, have you considered one of the WordPress apps for whichever phone OS you are using?

what we need is from Pc toPc remotely. We sail a lot and we need to update our blog when we areon board. What Iused was Windows Live Mail, which works fine and yes – thank you- WordPress for my blackberry.
However, I thought post through email should work but this is impossible, even with the help of plugins.

I guess I’m still a little confused as I’m thinking if you have email access or remote access to a computer that you should have internet access as well. If your internet access is limited (which it likely is) that could be causing the synchronization issues.

What you may want to do is during the time you have good internet access, log into your WordPress dashboard and setup several posts but have them publish at future times so they all do not go up to the site at one time. I know this isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, but perhaps it’s a work around. You can do this when writing your post by clicking the Edit link next to Publish immediately on the right side of the screen under Publish. Just set the date and time you want that particular post to be published.
