How to point blog to subdirectory

In the general settings menu, at the Blog URL setting, I have typed in the address I want to use for my blog, “https://partnershiprussia.com/internationalchristianblog” and error messages fly about it not being in that directory.

I am using Godaddy as a host and I have wordpress loaded in the directory “www.partnershiprussia.com”, but I have a subdirectory under “www.partnershiprussia.com”, “internationalchristianblog” that I would like to tbe the home of the blog.

Apparently simply typing this in does not solve the problem and I do not know what to do next.
