How to place photos next to articles?

    Using Heatmaptheme3.0 with an HMT-2 child theme. Have shifted the front page to be right-oriented, thus leaving a space on the left-hand side for images, photos, ads etc. I have loaded the media library with various images. When I attempt to place them to the left of the articles, I only get the title, the image URL and other printed matter…NO picture, image etc. Also, the printed material is lining up between two different articles. How do I get a photo placed in the blank space? (https://1acnecure.net and/or askadocnow.com). Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Have you tried adding them via a Text widget?

    And I bet you know how to explain that so I can now do that, right?

    If you added a widgetized sidebar to the left of the page, you could then populate it with images using Admin/Appearance/Widgets.

    Esmi, I read all of the article Widgetizing Templates etc. Well, I didn’t understand it, although I did make an attempt. Thank you very much, I have to catch a train in one hour so I’ll give this one the resolved status until I get where I am going in 36 hours. Thank you.
