Hi @sreetejadusi – thanks for reaching out to us!

Please be advised that the popups are simply containers for html content. What you insert inside the popup is entirely up to you. That said, we don’t have anything built in option to be able to place or insert a Google Adsense ads to the popup.

What we can suggest you is look and try to use a third-party plugin that will help you generate a shortcode that you can use to embed it in our popups using the text tab of the popup editor.

    Hope that provides further insights.

If you have any other question, let us know.

    Have a great day!

    Cheers

    Hi @sreetejadusi,

How are you putting your AdSense HTML ad units into your popup? Can you make sure you’re using the ad unit code, not the AdSense tracking code? They’re not the same.

Also, you might want to test your ad units on a normal post or page first. That’ll make sure you don’t have any issues with the ad units code.

Once you see your ads show up where you placed your ad units, copy and paste an ad unit into a popup. Then, retest.

It should work. But, please remember that Google Ads pushes ads to your website. So, putting ads in a popup (pull) might not always work because of timing or availability.

Let us know how that goes ??

@mlchaves, i have been trying to put the adsense Ad Code but not the Tracking Code. There are already many ads running on my website, however the ad code i was trying to put on the popup is working fine on the pages but the ad isn’t displaying on the popup. Hope you understood my problem??

@mariatogonon , yes i tried already using thr HTML Snippet Insertor based on ShortCodes, even tries Ad Placer Based On Shortcodes but it Isn’t leaving me a sigh of relief. The Shortcodes aren’t working, even the Elementor Section Template Shortcode which has my AdCode. Is there any other chance of showing my ad? What i wanted is on any link click, i want a popup to appear with Adsense ad, after 30 seconds the close button should appear. Everything works well except for the display of the ad.??

    Hi sreetejadusi,

I want to comment here, too, even though I have nothing to do with this plugin.

I can only advise you against integrating AdSense as a popup because it violates the AdSense guidelines and endangers your account.

You are allowed to integrate AdSense as a sticky ad unit but not as a popup.

    Best regards,
    Joachim

    Hey @schmidt25,

Thanks for your concern and the heads-up! Much appreciated ??

    Hi @sreetejadusi,

Since your using a click trigger for your ads popup and the popup is actually a part of the browser window with full nav (i.e., it’s not a separate window), you might be fine.

Publishers are not permitted to place Google ads in any window that is not initiated by an intentional user interaction (e.g., click). Additionally, Google ads may not be placed in any web browser window that lacks navigational controls, including back and forward browse buttons, and an editable URL field.

You definitely need to bounce this off the AdSense community to confirm you comply and to avoid any account suspensions.

Also, please review the rest of the AdSense guidelines that @schmidt25 linked to above to make sure you’re legit ??

After you confirm you comply with AdSense terms and you still need help, please reach out to us via our contact form.

That way we can get your details and take a closer look for you.

    Cheers!

P.S. Closing this thread for now.
