How to place content of uploaded text file on page?

  • Hi,
    I am designing a site in which I need to place the content of an external text file on a page.
    The users upload a set of reports periodically and need to tell viewers when the reports were last uploaded.
    currently they upload a ‘update.txt’ file, the content of which get loaded automatically using ASP files.
    How can they do so with wordpress without having to log in and write the entry? Any way through ftp?
