How to place AdSense ads in body of post

Thanks, google_earth…I have tried this before, and I cannot find the wp-content/plugins file, where I need to copy that. I’ve searched for it in “manage, files” and it tells me, “Oops! No such file exists.”

Oh, I see …. Plugins are stand alone .php files which should be placed in the wp-content/plugins directory.

When you do this they will then show in the plugins dashboard where you then need to activate them.

I appreciate your help. I’ll try to figure out your instructions; pardon my technological ineptness, but usually if I fiddle with something long enough, I eventually get to “aha!” I’m printing your replies. Thanks again.

P.S. Is there some simple way you can explain how to find that directory? I found a link that says “wp-content/plugins directory” on the “plugins” tab, but when I click on that, the page says, “Coming soon, we promise.” And I presume you are talking about something that is already available. thegoodp: No, this is on YOUR blog. You need to download the plugin, extract it, and the FTP the files to your own wp-content/plugins directory. The same way you FTP’d the files there when you set the blog up, remember?

Actually I have BlueHost, so I just clicked “import.”

Would I find this on the c-panel?

I’m not familiar with blue host but on my cpanel I have a file manager option and when I click that I can see the directory structure on the server.

Navigate this to the root directory for your blog, then wp-content directory then plugins directory.
