    Hi
I am trying to add a full screen width hero banner just on the front page under the header.
Is there a simple way to do this in Blocksy?
    Thanks
    Justin

  • Hello @static1635

This can be easily done with your favourite page builder, depending on your use case. Alternatively, you can use Blocksy Pro’s Content Blocks solution: https://creativethemes.com/blocksy/docs/modules/content-blocks/, to embed content pretty much anywhere on the site.

Hope this points you in the right direction.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately getting it in right under the menu means coding it in there. Which I can do once I work out how the content is placed in the Blocksy css. Getting it to stretch to the edges of the screen needs to override the Blocksy containers. I tried pagebuilders and hero banner plugins, they don’t do it.

Although I may just give up.

    Hello @static1635

I don’t think this scenario requires any coding. Full width options are available right in the Gutenberg editor. Check this out: https://streamable.com/o27yc0

Maybe you could get back to me with more details on what you’re trying to do? ??

    Thanks.

Ah, thanks, I was unaware of that. ??

Great! Thanks for letting me know you’re on the right track. ??

Thanks for pointing me in that direction. I didn’t realise blocks editor had a “full width banner” setting.
I simply wanted to break out of the main content area and have a large banner fill the width of the screen right under the header menu.
Was totally unaware of this feature of blocks. No wonder I couldn’t find anything to do the job as it was right there in the block editor anyway! ??

You are most welcome, @static1635 ???♂?

    Take care.
