How to permanently remove your upgrade notification ?

    Hi there – thanks for making your plugin. I do appreciate it … but is there a way to permanently (or at least for a month or so) remove the notification :

    “If you like our Background Slider Master, please support us by purchasing our pro version iCanWP Background Slider that has many more features.”

    It really is annoying having to close it every single time.

    Thanks for the reply. I do understand that you want people to upgrade – fair enough – but having the message come up so regularly – I close the notification, refresh the page and it’s there again! – is just annoying me and probably other customers too.

    Far better – and I see most other plugin developers do this – is just to set the upgrade notification to come up once a month – 12 times a year is enough to be notified.

    Otherwise it simply annoying not just me, but also my client.

    Hey NealGhoshal,

    I hear you and understand. To be honest, we work hard to provide high quality free plugins, but in order to maintain and improve our free versions, we also need to sell more premium versions.

    When we are able to sell more premium versions on a regular basis, we would be happy to reduce the amount of time the notification pops up on the free versions. But until then, we have to push a little more so we can keep supporting our free plugins.

    Hi there – thank you for your honesty around this. I do understand that too and I also appreciate that there is a free version which we can use.

    For now we will be fine with how it is and I wish you the very best with the premium versions of the plugin.
