• For quite a while now I’ve been getting the WordPress dashboard notification from Elementor that says,

Congrats! You created over 10 pages with Elementor. Great job! If you can spare a minute, please help us by leaving a five star review on www.remarpro.com.

I gave the review (it was even 5 stars), clicked “Hide Notification.” Yet, it keeps appearing. How do I make it go away and stay away?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Please! Can someone answer this? It pops up at inappropriate times causing conflicts. I’m happy to leave a review, but this isn’t making me want to leave 5 stars!

@deleyna – For me it hasn’t caused any conflicts nor has it shown up at inappropriate times. Sounds like your issue is quite different from mine. For me, I’m just tired of seeing it and clicking “hide” each time.

    Hi @jrothra, @deleyna

This is not something that should happen. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
Unfortunately, I did not succeed reproduce the issue.
It’s apparently a conflict with other Plugins.

    Try this steps:
    1. Deactivate all your plugins (besides Elementor) and see if it helps. If it solves the issue reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.
    2. If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) to a default WP theme such as Twenty Sixteen.
    3. Use another browser. It has to be Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Opera. Try also to edit in incognito mode to rule out an issue with an add-on or with the browser cache.

Let me know whether this helped you.

    Hello,

i have the same problem – since a couple of weeks. This has nothing to do with our browser, this happend after an update of your plugin and is very disturbing.

    Please have a fix soon.

    Hi @jrothra and @bamboocha7888,

Yesterday, we released an update (v. 2.2.5) that should resolve this conflict.

Can you please update your Elementor and let me know whether it helped?

Looks like it is fixed! Thank you!

It’s been a very busy week, so just now getting back to this.

I’m using Elementor 2.2.5 and WP 4.9.8. I also deactivated all plugins (except Elementor) and tried switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme. I also cleared the site cache and browser cache. The notice kept re-appearing anyway.

    What now?

I’m sorry to report that mine is back as well. I thought it was gone, but I realize now that it only disappears for the duration of the session.

By the way — I’ve also seen this show up on sites where I have just installed Elementor. So the message is coming up immediately, and not after we have been using it for a while.

“By the way — I’ve also seen this show up on sites where I have just installed Elementor.”

That sounds like a bug in Elementor.

It has not been fixed. Same notice every time i log in the backend. Very disturbing…
