Contacted Paypal. They said I have to send their customer support an email and apply to use the Mass Pay service.

Thanks for holding patience @mojomo. Please proceed as per their instruction as PayPal MassPay has set of rules that vary based on some rules. So, contacting their support would be great.

Please keep on posted your queries, would love to assist you.

Well that’s what I did, and they told me I’m not eligible; their financial requirements are outrageous to say the least. So now I’m waiting for you to implement new payment systems. I hope I’ll be able to use Paypal Adaptive Payment instead.

That’s right @mojomo. In the case of PayPal MassPay, PayPal wants you to have X amount of balance available on your account. Anyways, we are working on PayPal Adaptive and Stripe payment gateway. So that the admin doesn’t face any issue with the disbursement of the vendor’s commission.

Adaptive Payments please! I’ve just spent some time setting up this plugin on two sites only to find out the same as mojomo.

I would rather have a chained payment situation as I think most marketplace owners would as well where money goes to marketplace owner and vendor at same time with respective percentages and/or fees applied. This would be ideal situation.

PayPal’s requirements for MassPay and the fact that it is this plugin’s sole choice make this a difficult situation.

Any idea on when/if adaptive payments will be supported? Chained payments would take this plugin to a whole new level. It already is the best marketplace plugin by far, just needs a couple more things ??

Thanks for your suggestion @rjb for the chained payment. We have taken this into our account and would implement it in near future. Coming to the PayPal Adpative, hopefully we will come up with it by the mid of this month.

Outstanding to hear! Thanks for the reply.

I’d opt for parallel payment when using PayPal Adaptive Payments (rather than chained). However, great to hear that it’ll be available soon. Keep up the good work!

    Thanks @mojomo

    Hi,

Do you have an ETA for the PayPal Adaptive extension?

@mojomo – We reckon that by the month end we will come up with the PayPal Adaptive extension. For the time being, you can try PayPal payout. I believe it will help your need to some extent.

Adaptive payments please! ?? I have two sites built and ready just sitting waiting for adaptive payments to be implemented like all the other marketplace plugins. Can’t wait, love the work you’ve done on this plugin so much, it has almost everything we require. With adaptive payments implementation it will be number one hands down!

PS Thanks a bunch to the devs at DualCube for this! If it hasn’t been said before, WCMP truly is a great plugin with the best backend for merchants. I struggled for a year with WPMU Marketpress and it was a complete waste of time with a disastrous product that had so many bugs and devs that did not care at all about customer input. They would constantly release versions that would destroy the previous one. No backend to speak of either. It’s a different style plugin designed for multisite but still it was terrible. Best decision I made was to switch those two sites to WC Marketplace and ditch the multisite model. Sorry for rambling, just my two cents while waiting for Adaptive Payments ??
