How to password-protect Elementor sections / templates

  • I’m trying to figure out how to password protect an Elementor section.

    WordPress Version: 5.8
    Method: Password protection
    Page Builder: Elementor
    Passster Version: 3.5.4
    Elementor Version: 3.4.2

    I have read this page:

    I have checked the ‘Protected Areas’ checkbox here: /wp-admin/admin.php?page=elementor

    I have tried adding shortcode above section and closing shortcode below the section – it does not work ??

    How do I protect multiple elements (or a section) in Elementor?
