The best plugin we have seen for parsing RSS feeds into WordPress is called SimplePie but we have not found an equivalent for parsing raw XML feeds (and then customizing the output display).

We want to add a feed to each single post page, to display related site search results which are pulled from a url that outputs XML data. If there is a plugin that can parse XML into WordPress and has some caching functionality, please let us know, thanks.

If it is true that there isn’t an existing XML / XSL parser, we could arrange to have it developed for the PHP WordPress platform as a plugin, but I would be surprised if this didn’t already exist.

    I need one too… ??

The blogger importer plugin uses the php parser “xml_parser_create_ns” you can also see an example of this in “atomlib.php”
