How to override the Shortcode Template?

  • Hi,

    I’m currently using Divi theme and need to use the match list shortcode to display a custom list which will display in a card format similar to individual match templates.

    I know it’s possible to override single page templates, but I have tried to do this for shortcodes by adding the correct folder/file format; mytheme/wpclubmanager/shortcodes/match-list.php and any changes I make don’t seem to be visible when adding the shortcode to the classic editor to display on the page.

    Can you advise on this please?
