how to override suggested spelling when inserting tags

  • my site is https://www.peterdshapiro.com. I’m using twenty eleven theme.

    Initially I entered some tags on my Post page with intial CAPS. I now want these tags to appear in all lower case. I’ve deleted the tags with CAPS, and updated the post, then re-entered them in lower case, but every time what I am entering is over-written by the earlier spelling with CAPS. How do I delete or override these earlier spellings? It’s driving me nuts!
