• I am using the Woocommerce module to integrate with your plugin. For some reason, on the ad placement page, user can’t select one product, but only 3 at once, that is, all existing ones. At the same time, in the Packages section in the console, it is generally empty. Please help me set this up correctly.

I am not sure what do you mean the page i linked to has docs for both the shortcodes and blocks (5 blocks, 1 pattern, 6 shortcodes)?

    (@triptikon)

Sorry – in the case of shortcodes I could not immediately figure it out. Thank you! Tell me, please, something else. Why is it possible to mark all the fields as required, except for the gallery field?

    Hi,

i understand you mean in the Custom Fields editor? If so then it is possible to make this field required by requiring user to upload at least one file, that is in the “Limit Files Number” -> [Min.] field should be set to 1..

    (@triptikon)

Why fields are normally displayed only in the frontend? In the custome fields section fields created from data sources seems like empty: https://ibb.co/J2s6THj. By the way is it possible to make Price field more flexible? So that you can specify there, for example 45000-50000

Why is it possible to sort ads only on the ad management page, but not in the general list? And how to change the “advert” page URL?

    Plugin Author Greg Winiarski

    (@gwin)

    1. what kind of fields are those? Usually, they will display like that when it is a multi-select field (select, checkbox, radio) with no options available
    2. you can create a price_min and price_max fields using Custom Fields, but note that if you will want to show it in the place of the actual price then it will require some custom programming.
    3. go to the wp-admin / Pages panel edit the page with Classifieds List block, click on the block, in the right sidebar and in “Display Options” tab check the “Allow Sorting” toggle.
    Thread Starter Triptikon

    (@triptikon)

    2. What fo you mean by “custom programming”?

    3. In the wp-admin / Pages panel the page with Classifieds List block shows with pictures and sorting, but at the frontend it contains only a link to the ad. In the “Display Options” there’s no “Allow Sorting” toggle

Also you haven’t answered about how to change the “advert” page URL?

    Plugin Author Greg Winiarski

    (@gwin)

    2. without doing some programming work you will not be able to show these prices in the place where the actual price is now, the min and max will just show like other custom fields.

    3. can you paste a link to your page with Classifieds List or show a screenshot that will explain how it looks like?

    4. you mean the “advert” in the Ad details pages URL? If so then you can go to the wp-admin / Classifieds / Options / Types -> Classifieds and change it there in the “Permalinks Prefix” field, after doing it go to the wp-admin / Settings / Permalinks panel and click “Save Changes” to reset WP router.

    2. So what should be done to fix it?

    3. Here it is.

    4. I’ve done it yesterday, but the problem seemed to stay. Maybe, the cache cleaning helped. Anyway, this problem now is solved, thanks

    (@gwin)

    2. you would need to hire someone to program this functionality for you since it is not available in WPAdverts by default

    3. this is “advert” Custom Post Type archive page, our plugin is not using it at all since it is not possible to reliably replace it with the blocks or shortcodes (be reliably i mean in a way that would work with all themes).

When you create or edit a page with the Classifieds List and Search blocks from the wp-admin / Pages panel you should have there a link to this page and view it in the frontend.

You can also make it your main Ads list page from the wp-admin / Classifieds / Options / Core panel.

    Thread Starter Triptikon

    (@triptikon)

To be honest, I don’t quite understand your last recommendations. This page is specified by default in the WPAdverts plugin settings. But in the frontend it doesn’t show up as it should. So how can I fix this?

    Plugin Author Greg Winiarski

    (@gwin)

    Hi,

hmm it is hard to tell without looking into the wp-admin panel, but it appears that in the wp-admin / Pages panel you have a page with name/slug set to “vakansii” which is also a prefix for the Ad details pages.

If that is the case then it would cause a conflict in the WordPress router since two pages (the one in wp-admin / Pages panel and the “advert” archive page) would have the same URL and it would confuse the WordPress router.

The result could be that you are editing the page in the wp-admin / Pages panel but actually see the “advert” Custom Post Type archive page.

What you can do to troubleshot it is edit your Classifieds List page from wp-admin / Pages panel, change its name to for example “testing-vakansii”, save it and view in the frontend, it should now show the blocks.

    Thread Starter Triptikon

    (@triptikon)

You are right about this. But what should I do if I want blocks to be displayed on the page with the “vakansii” url, and not just a list?

    Plugin Author Greg Winiarski

    (@gwin)

    Hi,

i am afraid this is not really possible right now, i mean we do not have such a feature how the custom taxonomy archive pages work varies from theme to theme and we cannot reliably replace this page with the blocks – that is in a way that will work for the majority of themes .
