How to organise custom posts?

    I’m using CPT UI to post photos on my website. In the future I would like to display my photos in different grids (within the plugin Essential Grid). Landscape photos in a landscape grid, architecture photos in a architecture grid and People photos in People grid.

    Until now I just used one custom post type (Images) and got in Trouble with it.

    Question: What would be the best way to separate the photos in the three categories? Do I need three post types or just one? Or do I need taxonomies or categories? I have never cared about that part of the plugin yet…
