How to order category listing alphabetically?

    Hi every one!

    I am a new wordpress user. Is there any way that I can order the category listing alphabetically. pls help me. It is very urgent.

  • I just cannot see how a little bit of code in a little blogging progrm can be in any way described as “very urgent” – it’s not real life…

    It is urgent coz we use wordpress as our backend system for many websites.

    My doubt was,

    i use while(havepost()) { the_post(); the_excerpt()… } in our codes for category listing. For eg: If we click the restaurant links it will show an excerpt of all restaurants. is there any way to view that alphabetically instead of posted dates?

    Would you mind if i ask a “silly” question? Where do I have to insert the tag? Is it in the categories.php file?
