How to order categories by slug

    Hi,

    I cannot find a single piece of info regarding how I actually sort my categories by slug. The setting is ok, but how and where do I decide the sort order?

  • Hi Tomas,

    This is available as a premium feature. If you are using the premium version of the plugin, you can go to the Ordering area of the Options tab, in the plugin admin, and set “Sort Categories” to “Slug”.

    Thanks, I got that part. It was what needed to be done after the settings was in place, but I got a quick and very good reply from Alex that straightened out my questionmarks.

    I am using the premium version. But Unfortunately,
    I change the order of categories by drag and drop inside the Catalog Settings. But front end categories order did not change. Can you help?

    Hi Shirantha,

    Are you talking about categories or individual FAQs? The drag and drop order table is for individual FAQs. If you want to manually set the order of categories, then we’d suggest using the slug method. i.e.: In the “Ordering” area of the options, set “Sort Categories” to slug and then add numbers, for example, to the beginning of each slug.
