• I just installed Loco translate as it was recommended to me to help change the titles on the homepage of my site. I don’t really need the site translated, just need to edit the titles on my homepage.

    https://esdathlete.com

I clicked on the template POT and searched for the title
    You’re in good company…
and I found it..I then put the new title I wanted in the “Context” box and saved. This didn’t change the title on the homepage.

Am I using this tool correctly?

    thanks,

    Nick

I suggest you work through the beginner’s guide to learn how to operate this plugin:

Ok, thank you for sending this. I read and made sure all directories were present as well as files.

I setup a translate from EN GB to EN US to change the titles on my site. I searched for the phrase I wanted to translate:

    Your in good hands…
typed this in the translate box
    Our Friends…

But it didn’t change the homepage and I see this message after I save…like it’s not actually saving the translation

    Updated: October 29, 2015 6:29 pm — 0% translated, 613 strings (612 untranslated)

I looked at the MO and PO files and they have been written to…what am I doing wrong here?

1 of 613 strings would be 0.16% so it shows as 0%

I don’t have enough information to tell you what you’re doing wrong. It’s possible my plugin isn’t compatible with your theme. See the most common support questions: https://localise.biz/help/wordpress/translate-plugin/faqs
