Hi all, I’m not much of an expert in this area, and know nothing about coding, I need some help…
I had a blog on wordpress.com but decided to move over to www.remarpro.com. So I have signed up with bluehost, transfered my domain, and downloaded the wordpress script (in Mojo market place) with my domain. The installation is successful. But then when I want to login to the www.remarpro.com to do the import of my .xml file from my .com blog, it still opens my wordpress.com website…
I have read blogs and forums on how to install, I’ve tried to reinstall it different ways, but I still keep getting to the wordpress.com page!
Can anybody tell me what I’m doing wrong?
    Cheers

  • What is your site URL? How long ago did you change the nameservers for your domain name? That can take anywhere from several hours to 72 hours.

    Hi, I changed my nameservers today…maybe 3 hours ago…
    My URL is https://beautifulbrol.com/
So I should try waiting first and then see if the problem persists?

I get to a hosting generic page at that URL – so the nameservers are likely working, but doesn’t look like you have WP installed there yet?

Make sure you’ve cleared your browser cache, BTW. That might be taking you to WP.COM.

So I cleared my cache but it’s still redirecting me to WP.COM…
I have installed WP.ORG through bluehost (Mojo market place). When I click on ADMIN LOGIN, it automatically redirects me to the WP.COM login and not the WP.ORG login. I can see it in the URL and by the fact that the username is different but it will not accept the .ORG one… (if that makes any sense).

Ok I tried something different, I used a temporary domain and now it seems to direct me to a WP.ORG site, so I can try and import my content and then update the location of this site to my domain? do you think that will work??

    It should ??

Ok thanks for your help :). I hope it will, I will update this thread when I’ve succeeded or not…
