How to only show article count number, and not ‘items’

I only want to show the number of items in the cart, without the ‘items’ behind it. Tried to find if there is a separate class for the ‘items’ part but there doesn’t seem to be one.

How can I hide that part? Any php code I can add to my child theme’s functions.php?
