How to navigate on long pages…twenty eleven theme

    I’m creating a mobile friendly website in the twenty eleven child theme. I’m new to this so bear with me. I’ve realized that my submenu in my menu is too long, so I’m thinking about creating the sub menu headings/links all on one page. So for example, in my About page I’d have both Bio, and Intention on one long page, but perhaps on the right in a sidebar, I’d have links that could jump to the different headings.

    How would I best accomplish this? Can I still keep pages? I’d want to control the order of the categories for each page.

    Ok, it turns out that there is no sidebar for pages on twenty eleven theme…now what do I do?

    Twenty Eleven has the ‘Sidebar Template’ for static pages, to add the sidebar.

    dashboard – pages – edit page – page attributes – template
