How to move WP Site from Server 1 to Server 2 without problems?

    I have the following problem:

    I have build a new WP Site 1 on a Server 1. This WP Site 1 needs to move to Server 2 and needs to replace a the old WP site. The domain will stay the same.

    I have access to FTP on both servers. Do I just need to upload the FTP files + db from Server 1 to Server 2? Which directory? What happens with the links? Will they change automatically?

    Hi Daniel,

    If you’ve never done this before, a plugin like Duplicator can be a big help. They’ve got a helpful video that shows you what it can do. Basically it will take your files and database and allow you to easily move them to a new server.

    This will hopefully take a few steps out of the process for you.
