How To Move WordPress from 1and1 to cPanel Hosting

  • Im sure this is a popular question, “Can wordpress be moved from 1and1 (1&1) hosting to cPanel hosting?”

    First I strongly advise NOT purchasing hosting service with anyone who does not offer cPanel? such as 1and1, godaddy, fatcow, or others. The Best website hosting provider is JustHost and offers the most features and lowest price.
    NOTE: There is only one cPanel?. (not all “control panels” are cPanel?)

    Companies not willing to pay for a cPanel? license, create some sort “control panel” written in house. This may not seem like a big deal at first, until you try to move your website and database to a new host. Surprise!!! Only to discover transferring to a new host is not as easy or not possible.

    I do not know the solution, but if you do, please, by all means I would like to know.
