How to move widget to different column of footer

    In the customizer I see the option of adding more or less columns, however, I can only place widgets on the first column to the left. How can I place widgets on the other columns?

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, it’s not possible to place the widget to the specific column in the footer area. The columns are created automatically based on the number of widgets in the footer area.

    If you want to have one widget on the left and another on the right hand side then I would recommend to set a two columns layout for the footer widget area.

    Hello Taras,

    I currently have it configured for 2 columns and there are 3 widgets, 2 of them are not visible (mail chimp popup and EU cookie law). I also have the social menu on the footer. I would like to display a text in one column, and the social menu in the other, is this possible?

    – I am afraid it’s not possible because the social menu is not a part of the widget area.
