How to move to next question automatically?

    Hello

    In your demo quizzes (for example, the cartoon quiz), when we select an answer, it shows the correct answer for one second then automatically moves to the next question. When I tried to do this in my quizzes, the user has to click on the “next” button to move forwards. After I deactivated the “next” and “back” button in the quiz settings, it moves forwards immediately, even though I set the “Display duration of right/wrong answers (in seconds)” to 4 seconds. I thought it means that the answer will be shown for 4 seconds before it moves to the next question. How can I make it move to the next question automatically after the person selects an answer?

    Thank you for the topic.

    Please note that the “Display duration of right/wrong answers (in seconds)” option will not function when the “Enable next button” option is active.
    We have included a note regarding this in our tooltip.

    Once you disable the “Enable next button” option, the feature should work as expected.

    If you continue to experience issues after disabling this option, please follow the steps below:

    1. Please provide us with the link, where the given quiz is located for further investigation of your case.
      Make sure the quiz is open to guests.
    2. Also, please let us know if you have a cache plugin installed.

    Hello Jasmine,

    I already had the “Enable next button” option disabled and it still moves immediately to the next question instead of waiting the indicated time. So I did some testing and I discovered this is due to a clash in the settings that causes it to skip to the next question immediately. In the quiz settings, under “Answer Settings – Show messages for right/wrong answers”, if the options “On results page” or “Disable” is selected, then the quiz will jump immediately to the next question instead of waiting the 4 seconds, or if the “Enable next button” option is enabled, it won’t automatically jump to the next button at all. If I select a different option, then it will wait the indicated time. I think this is a bug and would need to be fixed.

    Regarding this, please note that our plugin is designed to behave this way.
    When the “Enable next button” option is activated, it will not automatically advance to the next question.
    This is the intended functionality of the plugin.
