• Hi,

    I’m working on a website that we are hosting on a temp domain name in order to build the site first before we migrate it over to the site that exists now. The new site we’re building is here;

    https://www.sun-seotempsite.com

    The old site that we’re going to replace (when the new site is finished) is here;

    https://www.roguehealth.com

    On the old site (roguehealth.com) we are using Constant Contact. We have over 1,000 people in our database, lots of old campaigns and basically lots of data we want to keep and migrate over to the new site.

    How can we install the Constant plugin on the new site that has all the old site’s info in it? Basically we want to install the Constant plugin that we’ve made for the old site onto the new one.

    How do we do this?

    Thanks,

    Chris

    OK, we’ve now uploaded the new site to our regular domain at;

    https://www.roguehealth.com

    Our question is still the same;

    How can we install the Constant plugin on the new site that has all the old site’s info in it? Basically we want to install the Constant plugin that we’ve made for the old site onto the new one.

    How do we do this?

    Thanks,

    OK, we figured it out for now. We just backed up the old Constant Contact plugin file onto our desktop and then we reuploaded it to the new site using FTP. We put the Constant plugin in the same place (it’s in the WP Content folder) as where it was on the old site.

    Then we had to reactivate the plugin on the new site and sign back in to our Constant account.

    The only thing that’s not working now is that the old form we were using to have people sign up to our newsletter is not there or at least we can’t find it for now. And when we try to create a new form there is some tools over to the left side of the screen where you can add fields to a new form, but then they disappear after a few seconds as the form designer page is loading. It’s very weird. And it’s frustrating because we need to have access to these tools in order to build the form we want. Right now the only form that we can build has a field for entering in an email and then a subscribe button. So that’s kind of frustrating.

    Anyways we’re still trying to figure it out but we’re getting close.
