How to move a WordPress installation to another domain?

  • Hello,

    I’m testing right now on a test domain my new WordPress installation. When I’m ready with it I want to move it to a production domain. I want then upload the files to the new domain and import there the exported MySql tables into the new database? As I see it I have then only to change the WordPress and page address to the new address. Does it work in this way?

    Would be nice if you have time for an answer. Thanks a lot for it.
