• I realize this is probably a stupid question but I couldn’t figure out the answer staring at the default theme’s “single.php” template and it didn’t come up in a forum search.

    So!

I am wondering how I can modify the layout for trackback information displayed on my entries individual pages.

    For example:

    https://www.sooz.com/index.php/2005/06/12/dinner-with-kevin-smokler-on-july-7th-in-harvard-square

I’d like the trackback link to be on the snippet that WordPress grabs. So, instead of on the author’s name “pc4media”, it would be on the phrase: “Author, Celebrity, Band Tours.” It would also be nice if I could make the quoted snippet italic and include elipses at the end.

Any tips on what template/code/etc I can modify to achieve these results?

    Thanks!!!
