How to modify php generated

Once again, easyreservations is doing much more than I need it to and I can’t find any documentation to help guide me through page editing – surely the solution isn’t to edit the plugin files directly and risk losing changes in the next update???
For some unbeknownst reason to me, easyreservations is generating the form header as a h1 … Everyone knows that it is a big no-no to have 2 x h1 tags on a page so I want the booking “reserve now” header to be a more appropriate h2 or h3…
How do I change it without touching the core files of easyreservations?
