How to Mirror Live DB on Local

    I’m sure that the instructions for this are listed somewhere, but I just can’t seem to find them. I’ve installed Xampp Lite and got a copy of WP running on my local machine, but my live blog has been going for a few months. Can someone point me to the instructions for copying my live DB into this local one so I can have a local copy of the blog? Thanks!

    You’ve essentially just got to export (backup) the database from your online blog, then import (restore) that file into your Xampp blog.

    OK…I followed the instructions for a backup and then a restore, but the local copy is running the live blog. Any help would be much appreciated.
