    Hello.

I have a web page that is in Joomla and I would like to be able to migrate it to WordPress.

On my local computer, using xampp, I created a clean installation of WordPress to perform the migration before doing it on a server.

I used the FG Joomla to WordPress plugin but once I made the migration I saw that only the multimedia files and the pages that I had in Joomla have passed me, the rest, nothing has transpired.

I wanted to ask if it is possible to make a migration between both platforms by completely translating the page and leaving it the same or similar to how it is now.

If you can not, I wanted to know if when doing the migration, I have to redo the page from scratch in WordPress.

    Thank you.

What do you mean by “the rest, nothing has transpired”?
Please note that the plugin is made to migrate the data, not the design.

@kerfred The idea I had was to copy the pages, the images and the design of Joomla to WordPress but it seems that being two different platforms is not possible.

The plugin can migrate the pages and the images from Joomla to WordPress.
For the design, you need to install a WordPress theme.

    Thanks for your help.

I close the issue since it is solved.
