How to merge two Woocommerce 100% translated .PO files?

Thanks for replying. You correct in the way that ProEdit imports the new strings, but without the translations.

So I end up with a new PO file that contains all the English strings, my own translations, but also 167 missing translations – even though they are available in the other PO file.

Apparently ProEdit does only import default strings and not the translations. Or am I missing something?

As I said I’ve not attempted it as I’ve never had to ?? PoEdit only has the ‘update from pot’ menu item so if that does not do it you might be out of luck.

More searching and apparently there are command line tools to do so, but you need gettext library installed on your computer https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1561897/is-it-possible-to-combine-two-po-translation-files-together

Yeah sorry, did not mean to be offending or whatsoever. I aapreciate your input and it seems you last post contains the answer. I was hoping for a more easy way, but this will do it.
