How to Merge Bulk Import CSV?

  • I’ve imported a CSV file of all the locations, now what happens when my client wants to update all these? They export the locations from their internal database, and need to update it on the website. In my testing it duplicates them, the import feature is great, but how do we MERGE locations?

  • Did you ever find a solution or workaround for this? I’m running into the same problem for a client of mine using the SimpleMap Store Locator.

    No, we’ve just had to export the locations out, update them in the spreadsheet. Then delete all the simple map posts, and import the new ones. It’s not ideal, but it has worked. They really need to build in a CSV merge functionality into this.
