I am at the end of my patience and options ??

I am the author of the plugin – downml. I am trying to add some feature additions to it. When doing it, after the first set up of changes (using vim) the file is locked by wordpress by marking it as inactive. No matter what I do afterwards, the changes are not taking effect.

I don’t want to why this is so, but please give me a way to make it active again.

    Please please please please.

I tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling it. Still the file is marked as inactive! ??

The files I haven’t edited are also marked as inactive!

Sounds weird but when I clicked the button update file from the editor page, the changes are starting to come. But the file is still marked as Inactive.
