How to map with $_GET parameters?

Is it possible to map to a URI with $_GET parameters/variables?
I’ve tried it (like the example below) but they seem to be ignored?

For example;

https://www.mapped-domain.com <=> https://www.mydomain.com/articles/?keyword=Test+1
