How to manage sales in woocommerce?

I’m sure this has a simple fix: how do I schedule a sale in Woocommerce without editing each product individually? Ideally, I’d like to be able to schedule sales by tags or categories. Also, is there a way to not have a sale at all? (Right now, if there is not sale scheduled, an item is marked as on sale).
