    Hi,
it seemes, that the theme “highstarter” includes breadcrumb navigation. But so far I wasn′t able to include it properly. Our website is kind of a travel diary. the pages should be associated to at least one continent, sometimes also to a certain country. For example the page “Kerala” is associated to “Asia” and “India”. but the breadcrumb on the page shows just “Home” and “Kerala”.

What do I have to do?

    Thanks in advance

    Uwe

    Hi @cluwe ,

Thank you for using the Highstarter theme. In order to show in the breadcrumb navigation “Home ? Asia ? Kerala”, you need to assign the post to category “Asia” and it should work. You can easily do that when you edit the post from the WordPress admin. I hope this helps.

Hi Atanas, thanks for your reply. I already tried to put the pages in the correct order. I tried to set the “page attributes” properly. But you mentioned the “category”. Is that something different? Where can I modify the “category”?

    Hey @cluwe,

I think you might be confusing “Page” with “Post”. In wordPress, pages do not have categories, posts do. If you create a Post (not Page), you should be able to achieve the desired result. Furhter reading on the topic: https://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/category/
