  • Hi dcsreddy. If you follow the procedure listed in this post then it should work.

I saw this post and tried to do as it says. As I am from a medical field, I was scared to see the distortion in my website look in the front end after downloading and activating that child theme. I was also not sure about the following steps
    2. Create a /inc subfolder in your child theme.

    3. Copy /inc/featured.php from the parent theme to /inc/featured.php in your child theme.

So, it looks like I may have to seek professional help in this matter.

    Any easy way?
    Thanks for your help.

The changes I suggested do involve modifying one php file. Not complicated but may seem so if you little or no coding experience.

    1. Simply activating the child theme shouldn’t have any affect on your site. It’s purpose is to provide an environment for you to make changes and have those changes remain untouched if the parent theme is updated.

    2. You would to this by either (a) using FTP to access your hosting site, or (b) logging on to your host cPanel or other user interface, then using the file/folder utility to create the folder. So you end up with a Hueman/inc folder.

    3. Again, using FTP or cPanel, you would copy the file from the Hueman folder to the same folder in the Hueman-Child folder. You then make the changes to the file in the child inc folder.

    Does that help?
