how to make the no options selected for the wocommerce select field by default

I am using the Woo Checkout Field Editor Pro plugin and attempting to configure a Select field where no option is selected by default. I referred to the FAQ section, which mentions that using the pipe (|) symbol before the options can achieve this behavior.

However, this does not seem to work as expected. The first option is still selected by default instead of showing a blank placeholder.

Could you please provide additional guidance or instructions to resolve this issue? If there is a workaround or alternative method to start the Select field with “no option selected,” I’d greatly appreciate your support.
