I can′t get the Easy Subscribe to work on phone or tablet. It works well on a computer but does not show on my phone. How can I easily fix this?

    Thanks!

Could you check if there’s more than one instance of the Easy Subscribe shortcode on the page? Having multiple instances can cause conflicts. If you’re using a page builder or theme settings to add the form, make sure it’s only included once.

Thanks for your reply! The reason I went with ”Easy Subscribe” is because I’m not so comfortable with altering the code. I want easy and functional.

That makes sense! No need to alter any code—just ensure the shortcode is placed only once on the page. Right now, I see it’s included twice in the header, likely one for desktop and another for mobile. However, the form is fully responsive, so a single instance will adapt to all screen sizes.

I’d also recommend placing it in a different section, as the header area looks a bit cramped. A good alternative could be below the header, or above the footer, where it will have more space and be more visible.

Thank you for good advice! The reason for adding the shortcode twice is that when adding in the desktop mode the subscribe button was not visible in pad or phone mode… I will remove the shortcode from pad/phone mode and see what happens. Thanks!

It does not show up on the phone… Maybe it is like you suggested, too crowded in the header?

Thank you! That made the trick! Thanks!

Glad to hear it’s working now! If you have a moment, I’d really appreciate it if you could leave a review for Easy Subscribe. Your feedback helps a lot! ??

Thanks again for using the plugin, and feel free to reach out if you ever need further assistance!

I have tested to subscribe with two different email addresses. Is there a way to enter settings so that an email is sent to all subscribers when a new post is made? Or maybe once a week with the headlines of the posts made? What are the default setting?

As soon I figure the settings out I’d be happy to submit a review!

Easy Subscribe doesn’t send emails – it’s designed to collect subscribers, which you can then download as a .csv file and import into a newsletter service like Mailchimp, Sendinblue, Brevo, or similar for sending emails.

If you’re looking for an automated way to send emails when new posts are published, you’d need to use a service that supports RSS-based email campaigns.

Ahh I get it! Which one of these newsletter services you mentioned would you say is more easy to use and intuitive? Thanks!

Sorry for my questions and un-knowledge… I’m working on the latter… ??

I understand after some searching on the internet that these newsletter services as you mentioned is intended for big volume addresses and that the are not free services. As my blog is very small I wonder if this .csv file is possible to use in Apple Mail…? I might as most get like 50 subscribers ?? Sorry for bothering you will all newbe questions.

I don’t have much experience with RSS-based email campaigns, so I can’t give detailed advice on that. However, my clients use various newsletter services for sending emails. Most of them aren’t entirely free, but some do offer free tiers for a limited number of emails—at least that was the case a few years ago.

As for Apple Mail, it might work if Apple Mail has an option to import email addresses from a .csv file. Most email services do allow importing from .csv
