How to make resized images appear nice in the blog?

  • Hey! This is probably a very simple question, issue to resolve to somebody well familiar with images and resizing in blogs or web pages in general. Have a look at this blog page:

    The large image in the article is re-sized to 550 width in the img tag. That’s how much width I can fit in that article. The image does not look very good, clear, you can click on it to see the image in original size.
    What do I need to do, what format I need to save it, or what software to use to process the image so that it appears a bit clearer. The image is taken with Alt – Print Screen from Excel.
